STEAM for Sustainability

The project will answer the question of how to increase the awareness of new generations about the importance of environmental sustainability so that in the future they focus more on green technologies and green jobs by implementing and promoting the STEAM field. This will be achieved by creating chatbots in English, innovative educational content for students and teachers to teach and learn about environmental sustainability, and by dissemination and promotion to increase the interest of students, especially girls, in green occupations in the STEAM field.
The project is intended for students and teachers of Josip Slavenski ÄŒakovec Gymnasium. Activity bearer and method of realization In the STEAM for Sustainability project, the coordinator of Josip Slavenski High School ÄŒakovec with partner schools from Greece, Italy, Lithuania and Poland will hold 7 virtual meetings and 5 mobility sessions over the course of 36 months, which will include 22 workshops, 1 lecture and 2 expert presentations, 6 visits to relevant subjects and 2 professional excursions, with the participation of at least 200 students and 50 teachers. In parallel with the implementation, the results will be disseminated and promoted.
